CORIANDER HYBRID PRIYANKA
Features
  • Plant Vigour- Vigorous with fast growing.
  • Growth Habit- Semi Erect
  • Stalk Length- 20-25 Cm
  • Foliage- Dark Green Shiny
  • Days to First Cutting- 30-35 Days
  • Bolting- Late.
  • Remarks- More secondary branches with multi cut.
Sowing Time June to july & October to January
Field Preparation
Ploughing Deeply plough the field 2-3 times to achieve a fine, loose tilth, ensuring good aeration and drainage.
Soil Ideal is well-drained, loamy, or sandy loam soil with a pH of 6.5-7.5.
Drainage Raised bed (15-20 cm high) to prevent waterlogging
Seed Treatment Thiram@2.0 gram/kg of seed before sowing
Spacing
  • Sow the seeds at a spacing of 20 x 15 cm
Seed Rate 10-12 kg/ha
Manure and Fertilizer
FYM Apply 10-12 tonnes of Farmyard Manure (FYM) /hectare 10-15 days before sowing, mixing it well with the soil.
Basal Fertilizer Dose
  • 60;30;20 kg NPK/ hectare
  • Apply whole FYM, phosphorus, potash and 1/3rd N at the time of sowing and remaining nitrogen should be applied 30 and 75 days after sowing.
Irrigation
  • First irrigation should be given immediately after sowing and the second on the third day and subsequent irrigations at 7-10 days interval.
Interculture operation
  • Two weeding’s and hoeing one each after 30 and 60 days of sowing are recommended. Preplant application of Stomp 30 EC (Pendimethalin) @ 1.0 kg/ha can effectively control measures the weeds.
Diseases & Pest Control Insects

  • Aphid
    Aphids can be controlled by spraying Methyl demeton 20 EC @ 2 ml/lit or Dimethoate 30 EC @ 2 ml/lit.
  • Leaf spot : Leaf spot can be controlled by spraying Mancozeb at 2 g/lit.

Diseases
Powdery Mildew

  • Seed treatment with Pseudomonas fluorescens (Pf 1) @ 10 g /kg and foliar spray of Pf1 2 g/lit or Spray Wettable sulphur 1 kg/ha. Neem seed kernel extracts 5 % spray thrice (1st spray immediately after the appearance of disease, 2nd and 3rd at 10 days interval).

Wilt

  • Seed treatment with Pseudomonas fluorescens @10g /kg followed by soil application of Pf1 @ 5 kg /ha. Grain mould

Grain mould

  • can be controlled by spraying Carbendazim 0.1% (500 g/ha) 20 days after grain set.
